Provisions for travellers

Extract from the operating regulations of the plant

  1. Travelers must comply with the instructions indicated by the special warning signs posted both in the stations and online and all those other particular provisions which, in order to avoid accidents, are given by the lift staff.
  2. Travelers must behave in such a way as not to cause danger or damage to other people. If they bring luggage, things or equipment with them, they must also guarantee custody.
  3. In order to use the lift, travellers must obtain travel documents to be shown to the staff upon request.
  4. The traveler who is not familiar with the use of the transport system must inform the personnel of the plant and request the appropriate instructions. At the request of those concerned, the staff will slow down the speed of the lift or stop it to facilitate ascent or descent.
  5. The order of precedence for boarding is given exclusively by the order of presentation at the start, except for service personnel, supervisors and rescue workers.
  6. Travelers are forbidden:
    a) in the absence of the assigned personnel, access the embarkation docks, and, in particular, approach or board the vehicle;
    b) climb in an evident state of alteration of the psychophysical conditions or not sufficiently protected in relation to the environmental climatic conditions;
    c) access the facility if, due to their state or behavior, they could jeopardize their own safety and that of other travellers, disturb travelers and disturb public order;
    d) carry dangerous or flammable objects or things or things that prevent easy access to vehicles;
    e) follow non-pre-established routes in the stations or tamper with any system device; f) smoking in stations and online;
    g) cause vehicle swings;
    h) traveling on vehicles in an incorrect position;
    i) online, open the vehicle doors or lift the locking bar;
    j) protruding or throwing objects of any kind from the vehicle;
    k) damage the parts of the vehicles.
  7. The staff can prevent the transport of people or things that, in their opinion, could compromise the safety of the establishment.
  8. Upon departure, travelers must arrange themselves according to the positions indicated.
  9. In the case of evacuation of line travelers, they must pay attention to communications. Travelers will have to wait for the evacuation personnel maintaining the correct position on the vehicles, refraining from any personal initiative.
  10. For chair lifts, the following indications must also be observed:
    a) remove any backpack from the shoulders and keep it frontally or sideways for the entire duration of the journey;
    b) immediately after boarding, lower the locking bar of the vehicle; for this manoeuvre, it is possible to request the collaboration of the personnel in charge, who are required to facilitate the operation;
    c) in line, maintain the correct position on the vehicle, using the ski stand, when present; any sports equipment not attached to the feet, if allowed for transport, and other objects (backpacks, luggage, bags, etc.) must be positioned so that they cannot fall;
    d) in line, do not get off the vehicles in the absence of different indications from the operating personnel;
    e) before disembarking, open the closing bar of the vehicle only in correspondence with the appropriate sign located near the arrival station; f) upon arrival, descend along the prepared landing platform and quickly move away along the indicated route;
    g) Transportation of unaccompanied children on chair lifts is permitted only if they are no less than 1.25 m tall. In order to travel unaccompanied on the chair lifts, children under 1.25 m in height must prove that they have completed 8 years of age.
  11. I Disabled travelers are required to check with the staff about the possibility of being transported on the lift.
  12. The transport of animals is generally not permitted.
  13. Travelers who do not observe the previous provisions will be held responsible for any damage caused to the Operator, to other travelers and to third parties.
  14. Any complaints from travelers regarding the service must be sent to the Supervisory Body, with the precise address of the complainant, in the absence of which they will be considered anonymous and will not be followed up on.
  15. Violators of these provisions, whose non-compliance may cause harm to the safety of travelers and agents or cause damage to the facilities, will be referred to the judicial authority if the fact constitutes one of the hypotheses of crime envisaged by articles 432 and 650 of the penal code.

OTHER SPECIAL PROVISIONS:

  • Disabled travelers must report any need for help in advance and agree on any different modes of transport with the staff
  • Air-bag anti-avalanche devices must be deactivated on board the system
  • When operating in strong or gusty winds, travelers should take the following precautions:
  • Do not embark individually on vehicles
  • Preferably occupy the central seats
  • Close the protective dome
