Skiing returns to Breuil-Cervinia on Saturday 25 October

The white of the first snow mixes with the warm colours of autumn and reawakens the passion of skiers and snowboarders who, from Saturday 25 October, will be able to return to enjoy the slopes of Cervino Ski Paradise, the international ski area - connected to Zermatt by ski lifts - which will celebrate its 90th anniversary in a few months. Almost a century of history, tradition and innovation, with new projects on the horizon.

The 2025/2026 season will be crucial for Breuil-Cervinia, which will officially begin work on 'Cervino - The One', the new lift that will connect the village at the foot of the Gran Becca to Plateau Rosa. This complex and structured project will not only improve travel times and access flow, but will also allow the Aosta Valley tourist resort to redevelop and modernise several areas, such as the departure point and the intermediate point at Plan Maison.

During the summer, Cervino Ski Paradise continued its cyclical improvement works and replaced the two cabins of the Breuil-Cervinia - Plan Maison cable car, which is soon to return to service, offering greater comfort and safety to skiers.

It has also invested in the refurbishment of the section of piste in the Teodulo area, the gateway between Italy and Switzerland and vice versa. In recent months, work has been carried out to widen the slope, improve the flow of skiers entering and exiting and consequently increase safety. This necessary work has created the ideal slopes for those passing through.

Three slopes in Breuil-Cervinia (24, 29bis and 4) have also been equipped with a programmed snowmaking system, while other safety-related work (artificial avalanche triggering and type-A nets) has been carried out between Valtournenche and Chamois, two other resorts managed by Cervino Spa. Finally, Torgnon is preparing to inaugurate the new Dampe slope.

For the third consecutive year, Breuil-Cervinia is offering its guests the opportunity to ski continuously until 6 September 2026. From Saturday 25 October, until further notice, skiing will only be possible on Swiss territory: the daily ski pass will cost £63.

From this year, the Cervino Ski Paradise area has also joined the Ikon Pass world, thus winking at the North American market. Tourist offers - at certain times of the year - organised by the Cervino Turismo consortium have also been confirmed. Until 30 November 2025 and from 7 April 2026, the resort will offer a 30% discount on ski passes for guests staying in one of the participating hotels for at least four nights, with the simultaneous purchase of a multi-day pass for at least four days.

After Eurosport's Sport & Sun Village and Deejay Ten, Cervino Ski Paradise will also be on display at Eicma, an international exhibition focused on two wheels, which will take place at Rho Fiera Milano from 6 to 9 November. This will be an important opportunity to officially present the new features for the winter season, but also to offer a preview of summer 2026, with a particular focus on the Breuil-Cervinia Bike Park, which promises to be full of new ideas and activities.

During the event, a new partnership will be announced with Thok E-Bikes, a leading Italian brand in the premium e-MTB sector, which will become the resort's official partner for both the summer and winter seasons.
