Traditional Christmas tree lighting

On December 6th, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to approximately 8:30 p.m., one of the most eagerly awaited winter events returns: the traditional lighting of the Christmas tree in the square next to the Church of Breuil-Cervinia. This moment officially marks the beginning of the winter season, spreading the warm and joyful atmosphere that only Christmas can bring.

A special, evocative, and emotional occasion that goes beyond the simple act of lighting the tree. It’s a ritual that celebrates local traditions, inviting everyone to come together and share the magic of the holidays—wishing all a truly “snowy” winter. With the majestic Matterhorn as a backdrop and the lights illuminating the square, the event promises to deliver unforgettable emotions for both young and old.

Musical entertainment will be provided by a DJ, offering a blend of Christmas classics and popular radio hits, creating the perfect soundtrack for the evening.

The music will accompany the audience up to the highlight of the event: the long-awaited countdown to the tree lighting, if scheduled. The DJ will tailor the playlist to match the crowd’s tastes and energy, ensuring an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.

A host will guide the rhythm of the evening, managing official announcements and introducing the key moments of the night, such as the countdown, as well as presenting the performance of the cover band CIAO90, who will take the stage for an approximately 90-minute show.
