The show of Snowboard Cross returns at the foot of the Matterhorn

Spectacular jumps, close overtaking, speed and races decided right on the finish line. Breuil-Cervinia once again hosts the excitement of Snowboard Cross, one of the most adrenaline-filled winter sports, which has made its home for years on course 26, right beneath the majestic and unmistakable peak of the Matterhorn.

The world’s best riders are ready to return to the slopes of Cervino Ski Paradise, in the heart of Valle d’Aosta, to battle for the first points of the season and kick off a new exciting chapter of the Snowboard Cross World Cup.

Two races, the first World Cup points up for grabs and a whole lot of excitement. Once again, Breuil-Cervinia will open the international circuit, well ahead of all the other events on the calendar, confirming that winter really does begin early here in Valtournenche.

A celebration to share

The excitement will already begin on Friday 11 at 6:00 pm, when children, fans and curious visitors will have the chance to meet the snowboard cross champions during the bib draw and presentation ceremony, held in the picturesque church square.

The World Cup eve will continue with a DJ set, turning the centre of Breuil-Cervinia into a true celebration of sport and welcoming athletes and spectators alike.

The World Cup within easy reach

An event not to be missed, even without skis on your feet. Course 26, the venue for the World Cup races, is located just above the departure station of the Plan Maison chairlift, making the action easily accessible to spectators.
