Run, put your skis or your snow board and go downhill to the finish line: here’s everything you need to know about the Reine Blanche 2023.

The appointment is for Saturday, 1 April. in Valtournenche starting from the Colle Superiore delle Cime Bianche.

The event, which celebrates a season of great satisfaction for the station of Breuil-Cervinia/ Valtournenche, will challenge in a goliardic way, on the legendary track Reine Blanche Valtournenche, a handful of brave skiers and snowboarders, in teams of at least 2 participants.

Participants will be "tied" at the start, with a tape in PVC type "3M" of length equal to 3 meters (between each participant) and the challenge will consist in making the entire descent, up to Salette, along the relay specially designed by the organization, without losing or tearing it.

During the descent on the winding path, where the slalom gates and gimkane will be placed, the skill of the competitors will be put to the test by a sequence of additional difficulties: in fact, once you reach the start of the Du Col chairlift, the same can decide whether to tackle the climb on foot, earning an additional token for the final buvette, or untie and take the chair lift, and then bind upstream of the latter, and face the rest of the path, to the finish.

All the teams that arrive at the end of the race will receive the race package from "finischer" and a token for the buvette to be held at the Plan de la Glaea.

REGULATIONS:

The start of the Goliardic event, Mass Start type (starting line of all competitors), involves the composition of teams from multiples of 2 competitors. A pvc tape will be tied to the wrists of the right arm of each participant and its length will be about 3 meters. Along the way, you will be allowed to re-knot the webbing 1 time only, in the event of a break due to fall or traction. Teams will have to make all the way to the finish, without jumping the gates and gimkane. In order to get the race pack, you will need to cross the finish line still tied by the webbing. Each competitor will be identified by a numbered sticker and placed on the ski clothing.

AWARDS CEREMONY:

The award ceremony, which will take place at Plan De La Glaea from 17:30, where there will be a DJ Set, provides for the draw of prizes offered by Cervino S.p.A. (will be the starting number applied to the clothing of the participants).

A special prize will be awarded to the largest team.
