Cervino S.p.A., with the operational support of Cleanup Tour and the backing of the Summit Foundation, is organizing a special Ecological Day that will simultaneously involve the locations of Breuil-Cervinia, Valtournenche, Torgnon, and Chamois, at the heart of the Cervino Ski Paradise area.

Join Cervino for Nature and help us take care of the land by collecting litter along trails, slopes, and ski lifts.

🎯 Goals & Participation Guidelines

This initiative is open to:

• Employees and Collaborators of Cervino S.p.A.

• Local residents

• Tourists, hikers, and mountain lovers

👉 Participation is free of charge.

🧤 All necessary materials will be provided: gloves, bags, rakes.

📆 Why July 11th?

This date was chosen because the snow has melted, giving way to green spaces—ideal for a cleanup day. And being a Friday, it also encourages the participation of both locals and tourists arriving for the weekend, kicking off three days dedicated to sustainability.

1. Breuil-Cervinia

• Chairlifts and Baby Plan-Maison

• Slopes 5 Cretaz, 11, and 3

• Trail from Cime Bianche to Cervinia

2. Valtournenche

• Trail below Motta chairlift

• Section from Becca d’Aran to Salette

3. Torgnon

• Trail from Collet chairlift to Chantorné

• Area between upper Chantorné and chairlift base

• Final gathering point at Lago Gordzà

4. Chamois

• Walking trail from Colle to Lago, with lift assistance

🎫 Round-trip lift access will be free of charge for all participants in the initiative.
Tickets will be distributed to registered participants between 09:30 and 10:15, during the briefing, equipment handout, and team assignments.

🎿 Special Participation: Snowboard Cross World Cup

Even sports are stepping in for the environment!

The Organizing Committee of the FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup in Breuil-Cervinia is joining the event, with the support of the Un Sacco Pulito association.

🌍 In the morning, volunteers from the team will clean the final section of the race slope at Plan Maison, then join the group for the waste weighing session and communal gathering.

• 09:00 – 09:30 → Meeting and departure

• 09:30 – 10:15 → Briefing, gear pickup, team assignment

• 10:15 – 13:00 → Cleanup activity on designated trails

• 13:00 – 13:15 → Return with collected bags

• 13:15 – 14:30 → Community lunch offered by Cervino S.p.A.

• 14:45 – 16:00 → Weighing, disposal, and group photo

• 16:00 → Wrap-up

♻️ The Clean-Up Tour & the Summit Foundation

This Ecological Day is part of the Clean-Up Tour, a series of environmental events organized across Switzerland and some areas in Italy.

The tour is promoted by the Summit Foundation, active for over 20 years in raising environmental awareness in the mountains.

🎯 The goal: to reduce environmental impact and amplify the positive effects of these actions on mountain ecosystems.
