The refuge is situated on the Italian-Swiss watershed at an altitude of 3,480 m, in the locality of Plateau Rosà, at the arrival of the homonymous 140-passenger cable car. The refuge can easily be reached with the lift systems from Breuil-Cervinia all year round. Thanks to its position, visitors can enjoy a fantastic view and savour dreamy sunsets and dawns. The refuge has a cosy lounge-bar and self-service restaurant. The solarium leads to the dining room, for those who prefer to enjoy typical Valdostan and international cuisine in a more peaceful setting.
The refuge has 8 rooms with bunk beds, sleeping 4 or 6.
