Dedicated to the children: The "Wild West Zone" in style cowboys & indians and equipped with three carpet lifts (one of which is 120 m long) and a baby skilift. It offers the little ones the possibility to ski and have fun on the snow. Even more for the children in the play areas for beginners to learn to ski; in the "Wild West Zone" you'll find cut-out foam cartoon figures, tunnels and arches to make skiing even more exciting, not only for the children but for all the family. The snow-tubing area will get the adrenaline rushing...a wild west like you've never imagined.
The ski area has much to offer families and you'll find a picnic area (covered and heated) right at the arrival station of the cable car Valtournenche - Salette. Enjoy your lunch whilst admiring the view over the valley. For those that want to try the local specialties ther are plenty of restaurants on the slopes, all welcoming and ideal to relax from the hard work of skiing.
The skicross discipline is right at home in Valtournenche and there is an area dedicated to this sport; the area is considered on of the best in Aosta Valley with breathtaking parabolic curves and jumps. For those that are looking for the difficult runs, here in the ski area there are two black runs (15A and 1B) to satisfy.
Even though the ski area is vast, the signposts means you can move around easily and try all the runs in the area, connected with Breuil-Cervinia.
